By default, you can't. Your options are to either
a) implement your own CSPTCompiler that combines the EAs with the DCR in the XML datasource that is ultimately fed to the XSL; or
b) use Xalan's mechanism for talking to Java classes.. but even then, encapsulating the call into a single method that somehow gets the context from somewhere isn't obvious.

The former is supported but is a lot of work. The latter is straddling the supported line, because you're introducing a dependency on a framework that Iwov may ditch in the future.

To have access to the dcr vpath from the java method is there another way that putting an hidden field on the DCR and on a save handler synchronizing it.

This is the only way I found doing this

Of course if someone changes the EA without saving the DCR you are SOL.

Keeping 2 copies of the same data is a recipe to get data out of sync.

Do you use LSCS/LSDS ?

No am i not using LSDS/LSCS

What I did for right now is create an hidden attribute on the DCR called VPATH and set it has a variable
