numberOfChunks metadata

Hi,

I see somehow files are getting added metadata "numberOfChunks" and which is causing issue while tagging.

How can I stop this metadata being added to the files.

You can't stop this from being added, it's system functionality. However there's no reason for your tagging to choke on that, so if you describe the problem more clearly, there might be a different solution.

In the workflows we are using metadata task. And I found that for few of the files metadata task was not working instead it gave error something like "TagUI for the file is having issue, please contact administrator".

I got one forum here where user removed the numberOfChunks metadata and it started working and this solution worked for me.

So I run the script on whole branch and it fixed the issue. But I see "numberOfChunks" metadata is getting added to the files. If I can not stop it then how can I trace it and remove instantly as soon as it got added .

Have you been able to reproduce the issue with any specific file or when processing a specific number of files at the same time (is this single-file tagging or multi-file tagging)?

If so - have you tried going to Support and seeing if there's an actual product fix for the issue?
