Performance after installing second CPU

Hi,

last week we installed a second CPU to our TeamSite-machine (TS 5.5.2).
Since that the server is running much faster in processing workflows and perl-scripts, but the webdeskpro-GUI slows down.
We didn't put in more RAM, which is still 1 GB.
What can be a reason for the slow webdeskpro-GUI ?
