VisualAnnotate Error

Any idea what causes this one when using the VisualAnnotate CCI link from email?

John,

When viewing content with the SCE, do you see a "Review" button?

If so, when you click it, do you get the same error?

Your VisualAnnotate install might have failed (an indicator that VA has been successfully installed is the presence of a Review button in the SCE).

For one we disable SCE because everyone finds it annoying. For another the data sent to the browser is XML so the SCE JavaScript never gets inserted. I will have the server admin check the installation configuration.

But a more useful error message would have been nice.

If it's not too much trouble to check, seeing the "Review" button on the SCE is the best way to find out whether the VA server install was successful. Another thing I would try is hitting other pages (that *are* viewable with SCE injected) with the VA CCI URL, and hitting your XML pages with other CCI URLs to see if there is a common theme.
