Approval logic

Hey guys,

I have a reviewer task and I was wondering if we can pass some of the files attached to the wf and reject the ones having issues. The point is that we can go ahead and deploy the correct files instead of waiting for the author to correct and re-send all the files again. Is this possible ?

Not without some serious development. You would need to make a CGI to approve reject per file, and then create a child job that does the edit/review tasks and then figures out how to get it deployed.

The other thing that can happen is the reviewer can detach files from the job and then push the other files.

I would run away from choice number 1.

I believe this will only work if:

(I'm less sure about the second one - I don't recall if Reviewer role has the ability to detach files from a job/task)

I think the key point here is that your authors should be submitting things together only if they need to be published together. If they change two files that have nothing to do with each other, then they should be publishing those separately.
