Step –I (teamsite Server)
I have created a custom page layout
/livesite_customer_src/web/WEB-INF/classes/com/interwoven/xsl/runtime
Updated the pagetype-config.xml
/livesite_customer_src/etc/conf/livesite_customer
The preview is working as expected without any error

Step-II (runtime server)
I have coped the custom page layout and page type-config.xml to
LiveSiteDisplayServices

ISSUE:-
When I try to access the deployed file , it shows an error An error has occured please go back

Any hints , idea , reason for this ..

Did you restart your LSDS runtime after making those changes? That's a required step.

Does anything relevant show up in your livesite.runtime.log? If not, bump up the logging levels in WEB-INF/classes/log4j.xml (it contains instructions about which packages to debug), restart LSDS and try again.
