SP1 patch installation on TeamSite 7.2.1 | hot deployment approach

Hi,

We are using TeamSite 7.2.1 on Solaris 10 box and planning for SP1 patch installation.

As per the instruction provided, install_webapps need to execute for content_center toolkit directory.
So on executing install_webapps it's overwrite the below war directory from ApplicationContainer:
- iw-cc.war
- iw-preview.war
- iw-rta.war

As in our existing application, we are using hot-deployment using jenkins for code and configuration deployment to the ApplicationContainer to avoid any downtime of TeamSite server.

Hence I have a problem here, due to hot deployment we don't have custom code and configuration in toolkit directory. So once I will execute install_webapps it will remove/overwrite my custom code and configuration.

Anyone have gone through this problem solving phase Or have any suggestion to handle this scenario.

Can you not deploy the patch and then force jenkins to redeploy your latest code on top of it?

I mean.. you intentionally went against the supported approach for teamsite customization here, so you should have expected this to happen sooner or later.
