NAS Backing Store for TS732

Hi,
I have installed TS732 with both iw-home and iw-store in local d:\ drive. Post installation and verification, I want to move the content store to NAS.

As a first step, I copied the OOTB iw-store from

\ drive to NAS say (\\nasdrive\iw-store)

Then in registry, under the appropriate section, i've updated the path of iw-store as \\nasdrive\iw-store. Teamsite is not starting with the store in the NAS drive. The error message in trace is

[Wed Apr 09 13:54:31 2014] Failed to create the server state directory \\nasdrive\iw-store\iwserver: Operation not permitted

Is there any specific permission to be provided for the NAS folder in order for teamsite to access it?

You need to read the manual and follow the steps about creating a domain user with the appropriate privileges / policies - and change the iwserver service to start as that user.

You do need to use a UNC path - not a drive-letter specification - because the drive-letters don't exist when when the server is booted up.
