Content Store from 32bit to 64bit
frankc60
We want to copy an entire backing/content store from Teamsite 7.3.1 32bit on Windows 2003 32bit to Teamsite 7.3.1 64bit on Windows 2008 64bit.
Does anyone know of any issues here (32bit->64bit) in copying the content store across?
Thanks
Frank

I can't think of any issues that you might run into, especially that you are still going to be on windows and not moving to linux or other platforms. i would still treat this as content store migration and run the appropriate CLTs and not just copy folder over.

Your processor architecture has nothing to do with the file system. Even if your file system format is different, your OS should be able to do the translation during the file copy (provided it understands both source and target filesystem formats).
As Crsb mentioned, a significant difference would occur if you were switching to Linux or Solaris because the file system driver implementation (UVFS) is fundamentally different. This is not the case between two versions of Windows.
