reverse deployment configuration

If I want to configure, I can configure it in a definition of deployyment configuration file using reverseSource and reverseTarget attributes.

I could not figure out, if this deployment configuration file where reverse deployment is specified, is to be on original source server (development server) OR on original target server (Production server)

This is pretty well explained in detail in the deployment guide...

The file goes on the base (source) server, because that's the server that initiates the deployment. It then tells the receiver (target) server what files it wants, and the receiver then sends that over the pipe.
