SitePublisher Components working with Tabs

We have a page with multiple tabs and would like to create this page using SitePublisher and components. How do you develop a component to support tab pages and be able to perform preview.

You should build your component using progressive enhancement tactics, i.e. edit mode will render the "javascript disabled" view of your page, to which your CSS should respond by showing each tab one below the other. If your component is producing all the HTML (whether you capture it in the component or load it all server-side from elsewhere), then this should be a non-issue. If you load your tabbed content via AJAX, then you need to decide what this looks like to search engines and whatnot.

In all cases, this should not impact the ability to preview your content, only the authoring of it.

I built a component that takes a single DCR input - that has browser fields for individual DCRs for the various tabbed content areas of the page. I then have a controller that merges all the individual DCRs into a single response document for the content render. I've not seen any issues in preview at all.

It really depends on how you implement it. I have seen issues where the editor (not preview) has issues with the JS used to implement tabs. JQuery and EXT do not work well together
