Dotnet CSharp workflow?

Hi,

Just curious to see if anybody has been able to with the workflow modeler using Dotnet or CSharp code? Do you override the execute method? Would you use external task instead of url external task? How do you get the context object in csharp?

I remember there was a workflow developer's guide in TS 6.7.x. I am not able to find any equivalent document in the TS 7.x documents. Does one exist?

You can use either one. If you compile your code as a standalone executable, you can call it with an external task. You'll get the job id, task id, and workarea as command line arguments. If your code runs in IIS, you can use a URL task to call it. TeamSite will POST the same variables. In either case, you'll have to use either CSSDK web services or iwCLTs to interact with TeamSite.

You can see that there is a user guide and developer guide. Just curious if there is a developer's guide in the TS 7.x releases?

I can't seem to find a developer's guide for the TS 7.x, but I see the user guide.

The "Workflow Developer's Guide" - or as it's now called, the "Legacy Workflow Developer's Guide" - is primarily focused on WFT development rather than WFM - though the core of the workflow system didn't change, the WFT code is Perl-based and is unlikely to change - so pretty much any copy of the [Legacy] Developer's Guide should do - there's a 7.1 version from 2009 which may be the "latest" version.
