Renaming the Finish button from DCT

Hi all,

I am using TS7.4.1 in Linux box. i need to rename the finish and cancel button from the DCT into Save and Close. can you please advise me.

i was trying to make changes in the /apps/Interwoven/ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-cc.war/WEB-INF/conf/base/ui_wizard.xml, but its not working. expecting your help.

I'm not sure if it can be configured through the ui-config-xml's.

IWDatacapture.SAVECLOSE_BUTTON is the formAPI reference for Finish button. I think it'll be possible to hide this button and then you can display one of your own.

And for Cancel button, hide it using jQuery by getting the object id or this

parent.document.getElementById("iw.base.wizard.cancel.button").parentNode.parentNode.style.display = 'none';

Hi Thanks Praveen. my requirement is i just want to rename finish as save and cancel as close. your idea is working but i and much clear about to add the button can you please advise me bit clear with sample so that i can do it.

check if it's possible to directly set the label using appropriate formAPI and jQuery code.

if not, add two dialog items for save and close, use formAPI to do the required functions.

IWEventRegistry.addFormHandler("onFormInit",customFinish);
