Team site 7.1 - Export User info to spreadsheet

vinimysore

Hi,
Is there any tool to export the user information to a spreadsheet or a CSV file? I need these columns extracted: user ID, Display name, Roles and groups.

As this information is stored in xml files, it is not as simple as extracting from a DB table. I am thinking of writing a custom xml parser but just checking if there exists something already.

Thanks for your help.
ViniMysore.

Not all that information is stored in an XML file - and no, there's no OOTB CLT to export all that information into a CSV file - but you should be able to easily write a script (in Perl or similar) that uses the various CLTs available (iwgroup, iwadmin, iwuseradm, etc.) to retrieve the information you're looking for and format it in any way you want.
