LSCS Error when DCR updated Manually

TS: 7.3.2
OS: Windows 2008 R2 64bit

HI,
I have run into an issue with LSCS/Idol on preview on TS 7.3.2. The DCT have been updated and the DCR's are updated manually( download, make changes on notepad++, Upload bak). When we submit everything and reindex the branch the LSCS throws SAX parse error. If we edit the DCR from withing CMS and submit the LSCS is able to query the documents.
Also what I see on the logs is that everytime the error happens the lscs query pulls from previous edition, if it works pulls from the Idol indexed edition.

Any help would be appreciated!

My guess is that the way you manually edited the DCRs broke something - either non-well-formedness or insertion of a binary BOM into the document - and you need to fix that the resolve the issue.

If you attach an actual example of one of your manually modified DCRs that's exhibiting this problem - we might be able to verify the problem or spot something else.

in addition check the metadata of the DCR you have uploaded manually.

We had an issue that the length of any of the EAs could not exceed 4k. If you have any EAs with values that exceed 4k you need to update the database to allow for longer values.

IIRC, that is only on MSSQL
