Trouble Accessing datacapture.cfg files

Anytime I try and access the existing datacapture files, I get a pop-up that reads "There is no file association for the file datacapture.cfg."

This happens when I try to access any .tpl files too. Even after I create and import them, I can't re-access them.

You can change the mime types for the .cfg so that the webserver will load them and your browser will display them properly.

Do you mean edit the file outside of the CMS environment and then re-import it?

If you are editing it, yes. Edit with, does a download and pops it up into the editor of choice.

There is no wizard to edit a CFG or TPL file.

Click on View, My Local Files.

Then upper right hand corner, click on settings.

Then click the File Types tab.

Click on Add.

Enter in your extension(cfg, tpl, xml, etc...) and the program you want to use to edit the files (notepad, ultraedit, notepad++, textpad, vi, emacs, etc..) Now when you click on edit, your computer will load up the text editor of your choosing that is associated with that file type (extension).

Yep, turns out I'm an idiot and it is that simple. Thanks for the help.
