TeamSite 7.5 TypeError: formspub_rteAdapter.getformspub_rteObject is not a function

Hi, I'm testing a 7.5 upgrade and when I'm trying to add elements in a DCR I get:

TypeError: formspub_rteAdapter.getformspub_rteObject is not a function

in Abstractdatacapture.js on line 821. getformspub_rteObject is undefined.

Does anyone have this issue too or could it be due to a broken upgrade?

What do you mean by adding an element? Are you talking about replicants? Does this happen on every DCR the same way, or just specific DCR's? I have not seen this particular issue and am able to add replicants to DCR's in general on 7.5. You may want to log a ticket with Support if this persists so we can delve into the issue further.

Also - what browser are you using?

Have you tried other browsers?

JS errors are often the result of using non-officially-supported browsers that don't necessarily support the JS code (IE is infamous for causing such issues)

I've tested on Firefox Aurora, Firefox Stable, IE8, IE9 and IE11, this usually covers all of our client uses.

I recon nobody ad stumbled upon this particular error so I blame a bad upgrade. After posting this I discovered other inconsistencies in the upgrade so it's very likely that's one of the symptoms of a update gone wrong.

I am having the exact same problem. I have also compared the file as well as RTEAdapter.js (which is where constructor for formspub_rteAdapter is located) with their 7.4 equivalents and they have changed, so it has most likely been updated properly. The problem only shows when trying to add a replicant to a container which has combination="or" and it can contain more than one instance.

Contact Support for the issue with the "or" containers, we have a fix for it.
