W2K TS 5.5.2 and TS 6.

Admin guide says to have 1Gb RAM per processor. Is this strictly necessary? What about virtual mem? What if we're talking about a development server where the load is light, simultaneous users are few, etc?

For a dev server you can get by w/ less than what the manual states. I have a few dev servers w/ only ~500 megs of ram. There will probably be a lot of swapping, but it should still be usable for a few developers.
