LaunchPad Error

Hello Guys,

One of my client is facing some issue while editing a file. Please see the attachments. This error occurres while editing a file. Seems some issue with launchpad at his machine. Please Suggest.

Check if the user has write access to C:\ or the folders specified in the error.

I have seen similar issues when users dont have specific write access to folders.

On another case on a similar issue, i could resolve it by deleting all the Temporary Internet Files from IE.

Our users had a similar issue which was resolved by adding the server to the list of trusted sites in the browser. Check out article #62346 in the support site. The issue is not limited to Windows Vista as mentioned in the article.

1.
Go to Tools-> Internet Options in IE7.
2.
Click on Security tab and go to Trusted Sites.
3.
Click on the Sites button and add the URL to access TeamSite Server.
4.
Restart the browser.

As mentioned by Reji, I found that the user didn't have write access to C:\ , which was causing the issue.
