TeamSite UI not working

Hi all,
I have a problem regarding the TeamSite UI. I'm in the CCProfessional page (or the Administration one, btw), and when I try to go the Teamsite one, I have this error:

Could not contact TeamSite UI Application. Please confirm with your system administrator that it is installed, and that the service is available according to its logs.

The server.log in the ApplicationContainer subdirectory doesn't have any hint. Where should I check for logs or what can I do to analyze the issue?

What version of TeamSite?

Does your server.log contain the entire boot up sequence? Or has the log file been rotated at least once?
Generally, when this happens, you'll see exceptions being thrown during the jboss boot up sequence.

Additional question - are you using SitePublisher and LiveSite?
If not, there's a bug in the distribution in which one of the configuration files has a built-in assumption that those products are being used and if they aren't it fails to load the TeamSite UI toolkit.

Sorry to keep dragging this on - but are you licensed for SP / LS ? Did you specify anything for them during the installation?

If not - then you're probably running into the same issue I ran into - take a look at this thread, specifically starting with post #6 - and see if that helps.

Hi ghoti, thanks for your reply. I tried what was suggested on that thread, but with no success. I should have mentioned that the Teamsite UI was working before, but, after a install_webapps which was interrupted during its execution, the UI became unusable (I had this info today from a collegue who did this interrupted install_webapps).

Is there a way to redeploy?

Try doing the install_webapps.ipl -f and see if it fixes things.

It was my bad. In the log I found this:

org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanInitializationException: Could not load properties; nested exception is java.io.FileNotFoundException: Could not open ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/conf/livesite_customer/opendeploy.properties

Basically I had to rebuild to fix the opendeploy.properties missing file problem.
