Is there a way for each branch you can set what that particular branch can view assets.

example.

TeamSite Branch 1 can only view assets in MediaBin Branch 1.
Branch 1 should not able to view MediaBin Branch 2 assets.

You can't do that with the OOTB connector. All you get is the ability to limit visibility based on the user's permissions in MB -- it doesn't care about TS branches and roles. You'd have to implement a custom browser with the MB web services.
