MediaBin 8.2 - Change Theme?

Hi,

How is it possible to change the default gray theme of MediaBin 8.2?

The gray theme is very dark so we would at a minimum like to apply a more bright/light theme or even create and apply a corporate-identity theme for use in MediaBin?

You can modify the CSS file that controls the styling to suit your liking. Keep in mind that any future installations will have to have your changes reapplied. Be sure to back up the file before making any changes.

HP Professional Services and many HP Partners perform this for customers all the time.

My two cents:

When I started working with MediaBin 4.6 it was corporate branded here (all mentions to MediaBin/Interwoven were removed), and I am happy this is no longer the case.

I recommend not changing the theme other than simple color swaps for ascetics, as doing anything else adds overhead to any future upgrades.

Since MediaBin many times falls under an organizations Marketing or Creative Department, they may feel the need to rebrand MediaBin.

IMO, unless your MediaBin instance is externaly facing/public, rebranding an internally used system to fit a corporate brand can be a nightmare undertaking which could be better spent (in time and money) focusing on updating externally facing sites/tools/systems. For that matter, why not change Outlook or Word?

Also, (should be your first argument point to doing this) there just isn’t ROI for it.
