RemoteDiff deployments not deploying EAs.

EAs are not getting deployed when I do remoteDiff deployment, tried between different WORKAREAs within a single branch, between multiple WORKAREAs - Both failed.

i have set both recordExtAttr (source) attribute AND applyExtAttrs (target) set to "yes".

Deployment definition attached, any help much appreciated.

Thanks!

Have you got any errors in micro logs or stdout? Unless it's just an omission, your conf seems to be missing replicationFarmLink.

Btw, you do not really need "recordExtAttr", that's to promote EA manifest.
applyExtAttrs *should* be sufficient.

Hi Sivaram,

Your deploy configuration looks fine except for recordExtAttr="yes". As ISCBorisB mentioned, you would want to do this only if you want to record the EA's in a manifest.

And if your deployment is within the same TeamSite box across 2 areas, you should use an areadiff instead of remotediff.

I have used areadiff several times without any issues.

Let us know if this works for you.
