In the past versions of TS I know that Content Expiration wasn't OOTB operation. Has this changed? My organization wants to look at options to have data expire be removed from storage.
No, that's still the case and probably always will be, due to the myriad of business rules you could attach to such a thing. At best, HP might provide a sample implementation in the future, but you'd still have to build something from that yourself.
