How to browse the image from other branch in teamsite 7.4.1

Hi ,

 

    I am working in teamsite 7.4.1. When I am in one branch and create a new DCR, I wanted to browse the image from other branch which is from global branch. Is there any way where I can configure and achieve it or Do I need to customize using FORMAPI. Please advice.

You can't browse to other branches using the OOTB file selector, you would have to write custom code to do that.

 

You can set up a rewrite proxy via the [iwproxy_preconnect_remap] section of iw.cfg so that you load a resource from another branch, but you would need to come up with a way to choose the files that suits you.

 

I think these are your two options:

 

• Custom file selector that will allow you to browse the other branch.
• Have a copy of the files in the local branch, but use the proxy remap so that the desired files are loaded from the other branch and exclude the files from the local branch from being deployed with the workflow.
