iw-cc is unusable

Hi,

 

I'm using TeamSite 6.5 SP2 on Solaris 8 using root user. Recently I changed from root user to some other user that I've created. TS didn't manage to startup, so I reverted my changes. But when tried to start TeamSite again, it won't start.

 

There are files in servletd folder that says Permission denied. And there's mentioned in the log "iw-cc is unusable".

 

I've changed back all the permission, can somebody advise me what else was wrong?

When you say you changed permissions - do you mean you chowned / chmoded files?

There are a number of files that need to be setuid root, and there are a number of files and/or directories that need to be owned by either iwts or iwui (don't remember which right now)

 

the "iw-cc is unusable" is simply the last resultant error from all the errors that precede it:

If you have another system that works, I suggest you check the permissions (owner / group / mode-bits) on the files and directories mentioned.
