Service Pack 3 Experiences?

I haven't seen much here recently regarding service pack 3. If someone has installed it, could you report back how it went? There was at least one bug fix we'll be needing soon. Thanks,

Ity took us 2 tries to get it loaded but once we did get it loaded it seems to be working fine. However, and this is a big however, make sure the bug you think is fixed in SP3 is actually fixed. There were some misprints in the original Fixed Bug List. There's a thread on this in the Suggestion Box Forum and some of the corrections are listed there.

By the way, the reason the installation of SP3 didn't work the first time was because of how the umask (Solaris) was set on our machine, so it was our problem not a problem with SP3.

Should the umask be 022?

OK I lied. Evidently a umask of 022 is what you want it to be, so you are correct. Our original umask was even more restrictive and messed up some of the executables so that even the root user couldn't execute them.
