In one of our Runtime environment, we have
1) LiveSite Display Services 7.2.1 (LSDS 7.2.1) installed along with OD receiver 7.2.1
2) OS environment - Windows Server 2003 R2 (32 bit)
3) Using Microsoft IIS 6 for .page and all the website setup on IIS.
4) All of Our WebSites are DotNet Based, using .dll and DotNet Coding for All of the WebSites.
Now we are planning to upgrade from LSDS 7.2.1 to LSDS 7.3.1 (latest version); For which I have couple of queries :-
As per the WS_Runtime_7.3_Install_rev2_en (runtime component installation guide), on page 49 ;
Install LiveSite Display Services for .NET ; You can install LSDS for .NET through the regular installation process if Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS) 7.0 or later is installed. If you are using IIS 6.0, you can install LSDS manually. For more information about manually installing LSDS for .NET for IIS 6.0, contact Technical Support.
And in the case of upgradation, on page 51, "There are no special upgrade steps and you need to simply follow the standard instructions.", but here no instruction in case IIS6.
1) Can any one aware about the installation packages for LSDS 7.3.1 [for Windows Server 2003 R2 (32 bit), use IIS 6 for .page and all the website setup on IIS]. ? Is it available on
https://support.interwoven.com site ? Along with the documents to refer for this installation.
2)Any other required software packages related to LSDS 7.3.1 setup for DotNet; if any required? Along with the documents to refer for this installation.
3) Any software packages and document required to configure IIS 6 to work with LSDS 7.3.1.
4) Any other softwares and documents, which are important to make this upgradation success.
