Sitemap messes up breadcrumbs

Hi,

Env:
TS 7.3.1, OD 7.3.1, LSCS and LSDS 7.3.1 all on Windows 2008 Server.

When I publish a page to the LSDS, the breadcrumb is correct. After making changes to sitemap and deploying default.sitemap using the Publish LiveSite Content Workflow, the breadcrumb on the LSDS does not look right anymore. For example, I have a breadcrumb that goes:
I have 4 pages, Home will show breadcrumb:
Home
HR will show
Home > HR
Benefits will show
Home > HR > Benefits
Medical will show
Home > HR > Benefits > Medical

After making changes to sitemap and deploying the file, the Medical breadcrumb will just show:
Home > HR

Is there anything I am doing wrong?

What changes did you make? You can compare the .sitemap files, both old and new versions.

Added a child node, renaming a node, etc...

I think what Samir was getting at is that you should compare the sitemap XML before and after the change to see if the XML structure is getting mucked up by your change. If you can identify that, then maybe there's an easy solution and maybe it's information to submit to support.
