It never will work. The product only supports two levels of directories beneath templatedata&colon;

and you can only have DCTs within the Data-types folders, and you can only have DCRs within the data/ directory within the Data-types folder.

You can create an arbitrary structure of subfolders under
"data" Folder to keep DCRs of the same Type

Yes, we can.
But in my case,-I have different DCT types.

Did you really mean "create your dct dynamically ..."?
The DCT has no knowledge of any specific folder within the data directory - it could use FormAPI callServer to get a list of such directories, but if you have more than one what is your DCT supposed to do?

Or are you going to make N variants of your DCT - all "hidden" by default (via FormAPI) and then a single select list to indicate which variant-type of the DCT you want to actually create?

That can be done - but it's not exactly what I'd call elegant.
