Similar to templating or workflow logging for which we change the log4j under
/opt/iw/iw-home/TeamSite/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/etc/conf/customer/log4j.xml

I wanted to configure the OOTB logging for the java files that we call in our externals in components.

which log4j, I need to configure so that my external java file logging can be logged in to /opt/iw/iw-logs/sitepublisher_custom.log

Copy the contents of:
C:\Interwoven\ApplicationContainer\server\default\deploy\iw-preview.war\WEB-INF\classes\log4j.xml

In to a new file named log4j.xml in
C:\Interwoven\TeamSite\local\config\lib\content_center\livesite_customer_src\etc\classes

edit as required, then perform a LiveSite build
