Error in getting Parent association using cssdk

I have used cssdk java code in URL task to get parent association but I am unable to get the same.
I have used getParentAssociations() method.The code is throwing CsException and IllegalArgumentException.
I need help to solve this Exception.

Your first sentence does not make sense - are you saying you've done this before successfully in a URL Task with Java CSSDK code - but now, in some unstated context, it isn't working? Or are you just saying that you've written some code using Java CSSDK for a URL Task and it's not working?

If you need help with the exception, you probably need to post the code and the relevant log file information - but before you do that, how much effort have you put into debugging it yourself?

I have written some code using Java CSSDK for a URL Task and it's not working.
I am calling the following method for getting dependencies of files

CSAssociation[] csaParents = tsFile.getParentAssociations("dcr-outputfile");

And I am getting the following Exception in the code :-

if we pass null to the method then it should return blank array but its throwing exception.

Is it throwing the exact same exception when you pass null or empty-string as when you pass "dcr-outputfile"?
[indent](I'm not sure "dcr-outputfile" is a valid type string - the documentation tends to suck in this regard [IMO])[/indent]

What is tFile?
Can you post the code where you declare / define / set it?
