Customize SP tinymce editor (on Textarea Datum)

We are customizing the tinymce editor to add few buttons and Styles. Having few issues and need help in clarifying technical feasibility.


1. Adding a button
We would like to add the button only for perticular textarea of a component. Need experience similar to DCT text area which is configured with attribute external-editor-config="custom-config", gets the perticular items configured in "custom-config". We wanted to restrict the button to only perticular textarea/component.

Is it possible. if yes, please help us in configuration.

2. Adding styles
We have added few CSS files to the page and by default ID's defined in CSS have appeared under the drop down "Styles".

Can we customize not to show the CSS items by default which are associated to the page.

Can we have separate set of IDs to be displayed on the styles drop down. Need experience similar to the content_css configuration for DCT tinymce as below.
IWTinyMCECustomConfig("custom-config","content_css","/iw/tinymce/config/stylesheets/custom_css.css?version=1");

Can we make this CSS items to be displayed to only perticular text area datum/component and not shown to everybody having datum's in their components.

Not happening. You only get one config for all textarea datums on your entire server.

Can't comment; never tried. Worst case, just re-implement the plugin and stop using the old one entirely.

Now you're actually talking re-implementing the styles plugin.
