Where are 7.3.1 dependencies stored?

Not so much a problem (although we do have one) as an RFI.

Does anyone know where/how the dependencies are physically stored in 7.3.1? I mean below the level of the CSSDK (which does seem a little patchy). I'm particularly interested in "rendition"/G11N associations.

Any RTFMs would be great, but none of my FMs seem to have anything in and I'm getting bored of hacking parts of the system on the off-chance they're in there...

As far as I know, they're "stored" in the same place as EAs: the content store binary. There's no way to get at them or modify them without going through the CSSDK, if that's what you're looking for.

Just so you know, we've hit an issue with the OOTB Globalization wflow and dependencies (CSAssociations with an "empty" secondary). If you edit a DCR whilst it's passing through one or more translantion workflows you seem to get an error forevermore when editing the master DCR. The physical file saves to iwmnt, but there's an EA issue, presumably with a dependent file and the user gets a stack trace if they look at more details. View dependent files also just hangs with a spinwheel for the master lang DCR. Worst of all, trying to jawa "delete" the CSAssociation (or all the original file's associations) also gets a similar stack trace to:

We're working with support at the mo. Personally I'm guessing a try/catch for a CSObjectNotFoundException around "CSAssociatable ast = assoc.getChild();" in setEAsOnDCR in SaveDCRCommand *might* help, or at least be a start (if anyone's listening).

Just in case you were thinking of working with English and Archaic French on a Canadian govt project, or anything ;-)

Can't say I've seen that before, though I haven't made extensive use of the OOTB translation workflow. Localizing the page from the actions menu and extending the PLC has been sufficient for the use cases I've come across.

Note that in 7.2.0 (fixed in 7.2.1), there was a giant bug related to associations to deleted files wrecking things everywhere. I don't know if maybe that's coming back out of the graveyard.
