System Error:Expected CSSimpleFile

We have been facing problems with SitePublisher Components after upgrading TeamSite from 6.7.2 sp2 to 7.3.1

When I add SP components to a .page using IE7 and IE8 irrespective of custom/OOTB components it throws System Error: Expected CSSimpleFile is missing....(attached a screenshot) on the Edit mode. When I preview the same page components loads fine and works as expected.

Whereas everything works as expected in Firefox.

Any comments or suggestions

Ever resolve this? It's started cropping up in my environment after updating some components.

Hi,

I found the reason for the issue and fixed it. Please if there is any JS file which shows up 404. Open developer tool in IE. Start capturing in network tab. You will see some JS files are not loading. In my case it was a JS file in my workarea which got deleted while syncing the environments. Just bring back the JS file into workarea. It will solve the problem.
