OD going down frequently

Our OD is going down frequently and we are getting logs created something like, in root location of server.

"hs_err_pid6704.log"
"hs_err_pid7773.log"

I have attched these log file with this thread. odbase.log is not giving any information about shutdown.

Is any one came accross this kind of issue?

You will need to open a case with support. The logs you have really do not offer much,

What OS version ? What version of OD ? Sender/receiver ?

Yes I have raised an incident with Interwoven, OS is Linux 5.2 and this is OD base server 6.2 version. For me it seems these are the logs related to JSP/JAVA and OS.

Yea, I also question whether OD 6.2 is supported on RHEL 5.2, from my memory OD 6.2 was released circa 2006-7 and RHEL 4 was out not 5.

Check the release notes to be certain.

If the log says that JVM is running out of memory, then try to increase the HEAP size setting of OD JVM.

we also faced same kind of problem on our OD servers (on Windows) , it got solved after increasing the JVM parameters -initial & max for memory.

You should increase the heap size in the processod file in OD base server and restart the OD.

Wat? Where did the memspace recommendations come from? There's nothing in the logs to indicate that this was a memory problem (which normally comes out as OutOfMemoryError and/or StackOverflowError). In this case, the JVM died because the native library (libiwdeploy_hopi.so) did something it wasn't supposed to. The most likely problem is that OP has some conflicting libraries, such as perhaps libstdc++ is too old or too new for his version of OD. Only support has the code to properly trace this issue.
