Installing TeamSite with Domain User Account v/s Local System Account

Hello All,
During the installation we are using domain account which has full administrator access on the server.

Does it really matters between domain account and local administrator account.

Do you foresee any issues?

Environment-
Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition
TeamSite – 6.7.2

I typically use a local admin account. But there is no reason that you cannot use a domain admin account.

Yes, I do foresee some issues in the future. Some of the older version of TeamSite/OD actually look for a local account name Administrator. If you change the name of that user, some of your OD functions might not work and some of the TS functions might not work either. Can't recall off hand the issues, but we had to reinstall many times because of not using the local administrator account.

Real old versions of TeamSite on real old versions of Windows required 'Administrator' be used to do the installation.
You should be able to do the installation as a member of the local Administrators groups and, if you're using W2K8 running the programs with "Run As Administrator" (or something like that).

The one place where I believe the actual 'Administrator' account still needs to exist is if you are going to run iwmigrate - I think it's hard-coded in there.
