how to stop od server

Hi All,

I was trying to stop ./iwodserver stop through putty.
this ./iwodserver stop command running last 1 hour and it is not completed and stil is running .Please i seeing checking od.log file
how to restart od server.

iwodserver:20121106:1618: Stopping OpenDeploy server and its RMI registry.
iwodserver:20121106:1618: OpenDeploy server home is /usr/OpenDeployNG
iwodserver:20121106:1618: OpenDeploy instance name is initial
OpenDeploy server is stopping, please wait ...
OpenDeploy server host: localhost, RMI registry port: 9173

Please help me.

May be your putty session got expired, open another putty session and check the logs whether opendeploy server stopped successfully.

Try hitting the CLT: OD-HOME/bin/iwodserverstatus if it is not running then start the open deploy server by running.

/etc/init.d/iwodserver start.

That's the old CLT - instead you should use ODHOME/bin/iwodcmd serverstatus
The old one initiates a new JVM, the new one utilizes the existing JVM.
