How to customize Delete in File Menu?

hi,

I have a requirement, where I need to include some business logic before any file gets deleted in Teamsite. And display a warning message in the UI. If user ignores that, then the user can click on "OK" and continue with the Delete function.

Can you please help on how/where to change to customize Delete function?

Also, in the same way, need to include some checks before submitting the files as well.

You need to remove the delete function from the UI and then write a custom delete, probably with a custom JSP (or perl)

Not trivial, but also not uncommon of a request

Have you taken a look at the UITK Guide? That can show you how to add/remove items from the menus. Once you add in the link you want, you can customize that link to do as your program pleases.
