Deleting a TeamSite file using a CLT

One of my Editors mistakenly imported the following file of "2011 RAM Bidders' Conference Audio.mp3" and now I can delete it using ContentCenter. I keep getting a JS error of:
Timestamp: Fri, 30 Nov 2012 21:51:36 UTC

Message: Expected ')'
Line: 53
Char: 53
Code: 0
URI: http://wcm/iw-cc/command/iw.group.delete

This is probably caused by the single quote that's part of the filename above. How do I use CLT to delete this file ?

just traverse the filesystem and delete it. You may need to escape the special character.

You can just use the OS to delete the file. One you delete the file, make sure to submit the file. You will probably have to put the filename around double quotes with the spaces and apostrophe in the filename.

Got it. I've always thought that if you did this outside of ContentCenter it would have an adverse effect on how TS manages files i.e. versions, access and permissions. BTW, any difference on the effects or repercussions if this was not in a Solaris system ?

you use backslash instead of forward slash. :-)

It should work correctly. Sure enough, you will be able to do that only in some Workarea. As usual, to promote Branch changes
you'll have to "Submit Deletions" using the mechanism of your choice (WF, CC GUI, Clt, CSSDK and whatnot)
