error while uploading pdf

Hi,

I am getting the below error while uploading pdf to mediabin.

pdf: xyz.pdf

size: 6.3 mb

mediabin version:8.03.0.48

error message while uploading is

Exception in Primitive Reason = Problem in RIP, Message = Vector EPS Decoder: Error finding page attributes. ERROR: JOB Returned error by primitive Vector EPS/PDF/AI Decoder from ForwardSetup(); RC = The operation failed. Check the log output for details.

The wierd thing is we have the same mediabin version in dev, uat and prod.

it works in dev, but not in uat and prod.

any thoughts?

even though you might of haing same versions of MB in all the environments, an QSU or any patch might have applied in Dev..

Compare primitive DLL timestamps in all the environments.

Also, recommended to open a case with support.

is there any thing that could be a problem with this in terms of the error?

i have observed noticed with some of our PDS, mainly encrypted files. Can you upload the file here? i will check in our test environment.

datas in the pdf is sensitive Smiley Sad

could you let me know if anything i need to check in the pdf?

fix was provided by hp to update the ghostscript software within mediabin
