LSDS/LSCS deployments not happening

Hi,

TS 7.5 with LiveSite runtime

Environment: RHEL

My PLC workflow is failing in the last leg where it deploys content to LSCS, LSDS.

I have both database-repository and Search Service repository up, when I see in debug panel.<http://<my-server>:1876/lscs/admin/debugpanel/

I am attaching my server.log here, pls take a look and suggest any pointers to debug or resolve the issue.

Hi,

Look into the Opendeploy Base and Reciver logs under lscs folder, they will have the reasons for the deployment failures.

on TS server the folder lscs is not getting created on runtime the folder is there but no files inside it.

Also Check the od.log too. Looks like the connection between the base and receiver is failing..

Log says "Connection refused" error. Check LSDS/LSCS are up and running. Also, check the OD logs.

Connection between OD base and receiver is fine, also LSDS/LSCS are both up.

So the deployment for LSDS is initiated, check the logs under LiVesite folder look for xxxOpendeployWebRootxxx both in base as well as receiver.

OpenDeployWebroot logs are missing, only ***.SiteMetadata****** files are there, I have checked OD configuration OpenDeployWebRoot.xml and its present under od-home//conf/LiveSite/.

Can you confirm, which one you are selecting.

1) Development / Production node in PLC

I am selecting production PLC workflow, I have not made any changes to the worklfow I am just using the default one provided.

In the server.log we have

"deployFiles found one or more errors while processing target nodeset: [production]"

Can you check in the lscs-authoring.xml ,

1) you should have runtime mode as ->production

2) destinationNode as -> LSCSRuntime

In content.properties files.

3) Check the parameter lscs.enabled = true

in odnodes.xml

4) Check for the node LSCSRuntime

I see these configurations ->

In /usr/Interwoven/LiveSiteCSAuth/authoring/etc/deployment/config/lscs-authoring.xml

In usr/Interwoven/TeamSite/local/config/lib/content_center/livesite_customer_src/etc/conf/livesite_customer/content.properties

lscs.enabled=true

odnodes.xml, alvsapp002 is our runtime server.

These configurations seems good, Can you initiate the Test deployment from Authoring, pointing to LSCSRuntime node.

if it fails, try to point to an IP for the LSCSRuntime node

It looks to me that. LSCS is not enabled in content.properties. when you are deploying to LSCS OD uses different deployments for LSDS

@nipper - I have checked in all the instances of content.properties, and lscs is enabled.

@pualiw - I am able to deploy files to runtime node from my base server.

Did you rebuild the UI after it ws changed? Check:

ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-cc.war/WEB-INF/conf/livesite_customer/content.properties

ApplicationContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-preview.war/WEB-INF/conf/livesite_customer/content.properties

Changing the OD webservices port in deployment-source.properties file,to match with odbase.xml resolved the issue.
