SPAR and dependencies

Hi all, I have a site that I should copy to our new Production enviroment. It consists mainly in .page files and static stuff, nothing too fancy.

I am aware ot the SPAR procedure to migrate a site, but I don't know if when a SPAR is imported, all the depencies every file has are imported as well. For example, the homepage .page file has several dependecies including img files and templatedata.

Also, if I import the site manually using the "Import" function from the CC, are the dependencies imported?

Dependencies aren't preserved in the SPAR per-se, but the mechanism it uses to import a page cause it to "recalculate" the dependencies based on what the .page actually contains, and so the end result should effectively be the same.

Using File > Import does not preserve or recalculate dependencies.

Very clear. Is there a way to "force" a dependencies recalculation after a manual import?

There's no supported API to do so, as far as I know. If it's just a handful of pages/DCRs, opening them within the UI and forcing a save should trigger a recalculation of the dependencies.

Otherwise, you might be able to hack a call to the underlying code that supports SPAR imports, or you can write your own.
