Default EA's set on the DCRS

Hi All ,

Iam on TS 7.3.2, Solaris,

While creating a DCR there are two default EA's set to it " TeamSite/Assocation/Version: 1 " and " iw_form_valid: true " . Can we remove these two EA 's ? , will there be any impact on the DCR .

I removed them and I didnt find any impact on the DCR or its branch.

We are deploying these DCR to LSCS runtime will it have any impact while retirving the DCR on runtime.

I remember the purpose of this metadata iw_from_valid, has been documented in one of the guides.

This metadata iw_from_valid is to know if the form is complete/incomplete.

For TeamSite/Assocation/Version , this is present for .page too , and it's a metadata -> def used somewhere for some purpose.

As far as TeamSite, they are / can be.. used. The change you made , might not impact when it is moved to runtime.

Removing them is unsupported, even if it doesn't have any noticeable adverse effects. Why do you need to remove them?

I'm pretty sure TeamSite/Assocation/Version is used when getting the parent/child associations programmatically by use of the returnVersionSpecificOnly and/or latestVersionOnly parameters.

I'm not sure of the impact of removing that EA if you don't use that aspect of the file associations - perhaps you could check if anything is different when you choose Actions > Find Associated Files with and without the EA?
