How to read default.sitemap using components in Teamsite using Java

I want to read default.sitemap using java coding and then I want to genarate XML output so that I can use it in teamsite components. Please provides me some link where I can see same solutions or if anyone provides any code snipet that will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check the sample components for navigation. They do what you want.

The sitemap is XML so you likely do not need to use Java, you shoul dbe able to do what you need in XSL

here I whant to add my own look and feel html but I'm not sure where <xsl:call-template name="vertical-sitemap"></xsl:call-template> this file exist because I want to add my own xslt or html.

That function is defined in the VerticalSiteMap.xsl that you're including a little higher up. You can find this in AppContainer/server/default/deploy/iw-preview.war/WEB-INF/classes/com/interwoven/xsl/navigation/

Note that you should not make changes to this file nor to the sample component. Build your own copy based on those examples.
