Hi All,

 

I added a radio button to my datacapture.cfg file and I setup a defalut selection,when I try to create new 'Form Entry' the defalut option selects and it is working fine for new DCRs but when I try to open the old DCRs no option selects for this field,the default option should select.

 

Can someone please provide your sugestion on this issue?

That's because existing DCRs have value <blank> for that field.

 

You can add a bit of FormAPI in your onFormInit handler to say

if (iwItem.getValue() == null) { iwItem.setValue(0); } // or whatever is the index of your intended default option
