MwdiaBin 462
First time I am using MB
I have user access to MB. So is MB and MB Enterprise Manager same or diferent UI ? If I want to check log files, do I need to log o to MB Ent Manager ?
Do I need admin rights to access MB Ent Mgr ?
Thanks
MediaBin Enterprise Manager is for system administration/configuration, including viewing of logs (active and recent completed jobs, system log, and audit log). You do need to be in the MB administration group to log into this client.
There are some log files in the MediaBin Windows client (active and recently completed jobs), however not in the Web client.
If you would like to check MediaBin Server side logs, these logs are in ...\MediaBin Server\Logs folder. Additional logging can be enabled in Windows Registry settings under MediaBin hive.
I have business user access to MB. I dont have server access. So I will requireserver access to check these logs. If I have access to MB ENterprise Manager, then can I have access to server side logs (Will these log files be available in UI ) ?
Which are the main log files in MB to check user activities (Like iwevents.log in TeamSite) ?

Do you mean, we can set new MB log files from windows registry ? I have never done that with TS. Can it be done in TeamSite also ? What exactly do you mean by MediaBin hive ?
JobHistoryLog and AuditLog are the ones to check User activites; System Log in Enterprise Manager is to check MB Server related events.
I mean hive as MediaBin related registry entries on MediaBin Server. These server side logs are not intended for Business users and recommended for MediaBin Administrators.
