QAS / VAS authentication with TeamSite?

Environment:

TS 7.4.1 on RHEL 6

Scenario:

I'm doing the installation, and when I asked for their LDAP information I was told that they weren't using LDAP - they were using QAS / VAS in association with AD.

Questions:

Has anyone successfully gotten TeamSite to authenticate with QAS / VAS?

If so, was it handled like LDAP? PAM? SSO? or something else?
Any examples of where / what to configure would be great.

Alternatively, can anyone categorically say that it won't work? :-)

I would say, Interwoven has officially stated TeamSite integration via Pluggable Authentication Module.

is demoserver / demo_server a literal string as opposed to an organization-specific server name?

While it's a bit dated, there's a "Using Vintela Authentication Services" section in the TeamSite Supplement Release 6.7.2.

We ended up using "system-auth" (in lieu of demo_server) - and it seems to work if we enter a user's userid directly - but if we try to do a Search on a username, it doesn't work.

So this is mostly resolved - but not entirely.

(David, I found those references after I started the thread, and it basically said the same as what Paul said in the initial response)

I may look at them again, but at this point the priority is lessened because I can at least add users.
