I am using TeamSite 7.3.2 and want to disable revert option in versions in a dcr for the user.Please help me with your valuable suggestions.
Can't say I understand your requirement -- feels like you're missing the point of content management systems..
But this is a permission flag on the roles, so if you don't want your Authors to revert, then you can remove that perm item for that role. You won't be able to remove it for master users though.
Thanks for reply.Let me be a bit clear on this as to what i am trying to achieve. So, as per our client request they require customise option of "Versions" with some additional features for that to be the only option avaliable the default TeamSite option for "Versions" in a dcr needs to be grayed out or disabled. Please help me with your valuable solutions. If anyone had tried something similar.
Read the manuals (e.g.: TeamSite_7.3_UIAdmin_en.pdf) and experiment with Role Customization (e.g.: Chapter 2 - "Manage Roles, Users, and Groups") - and you might be able to do what you're looking to do.
That being said, I think the "requirement" is questionable.
