Save was unsuccessful. Invalid category/type null was received

HI,

TS 7.2.1

I am facing a wierd issue here..I have a container with replicant set max as unbounded.I have 373 containers now.

But as i add 374th container it gives- Save was unsuccessful. Invalid category/type null was received.

1: I dont have any js linked to dct

2: I do have image references in dcr(in each replicant) where the image doesnt exist.

point 2: Read previous posts and says dependancy manager should be fixed but creating those dependancy files..

But creating 373 image files is painful. Also why is till 373 replicants dcr is saving fine..??

Any ideas to fix..or workaround?

How long does the save take ?

It is likely that a task timed out.

BTW, how complex are the repicants ? Many items ?

How big is the DCR?

By default, there is a 2MB DCR size limit. Here's the KB on how to remove that limit: https://customers.autonomy.com/support/secure/solution.jsf?id=106496.

Save is successful and usual under containers less than 373.Beyond that error is thrown without much wait.

There is not anything unsual with save..

file size is 632kb..

I even tried downloading and upload/importing the file and setting attributes..But still no luck..

It may be an issue even on DCRs that are smaller than 2MB, but contain a large number of replicants.

I would try adding the maxPostSize="0" into server.xml (like the KB explains) and then run iwreset -a. See if that fixes it.

I am supposing its a file size issue..the moment i am adding a single character beyond a certain limit, it throws the error.

Under <Connector port="8080"

insert: maxPostSize="0"

run iwreset -a.

In that case, I'd suggest you ask whoever in your organization has access to the support site to open a support ticket.
